We are looking at buying from Dino Pc, has anyone bought from them or know anything about them? Cheers
never spend your money at this firm you will regret it if your pc works fine if not like my £2000 one badly built worked 4 ten mins and shut down 4 weeks later they just ignore emails i am taking them 2 court for a refund if the foreign owner turns up so spend your cash elsewhere do not give him anything
This company is terrible. I ordered a PC from them 3 weeks ago. After sending 4 emails asking for a date for delivery, to which I have received no responses, I contacted there telesales team on Friday last week. They assured me on the phonethat they were just finishing off a couple of things and it will be sent in the post that evening, but if the miss that it would definetly be Monday. I sit here on Tuesday night and I still haven't received a confirmation email that it has been sent. I now want my money back to buy elsewhere. I will see how I get on tomorrow with this.

During my time buying custom computers online i have also had terrible experiences with many companies (dinopc, aria, novatech, vadim, arbico, pc specialists and the worst of all computer world!). In my experience i have found that if you are willing to take a little time to search around and not just be attracted by flashy images and apparently cheap prices, you will find there are actually some reputable companies out there! they may charge a little extra, but the build quality, component quality and more importantly after sales care and custom service quality were second to none!

I ordered a PC from Dino PC. I must say that the price was very good PC was delivered on time - just within the timeframe they quoted, well packaged and worked great. Didnt email me till the night before to let me know it was on its way. Luckily someone was at home to accept delivery.
It worked for about a week and then screen went dead. The Tech Support were easy to get hold of and gave me a number of things to try - without success. I packed it up in the original packaging and they offered to pick it up the same day by courier.
Its been away with them for just under a week. During that time they didn't reply to my emails, but I was able to do "live chat" with their Customer Services department who advised me that it had already been dispatched. 30 mins later I got a call from home to say it had arrived!! Pity they didn't let me when it was despatched. I'll give it a good workout tonight to make sure its all working.
So far I would rate them 9/10 for price
8/10 for service, 5/10 for communication. I'll do a further post if the computer doesn't work when I get home!
Got home to find my pc had been returned with a new upgraded graphics card (Nvidea GTS250) at no extra charge!! - currently working a dream. Hope it stays that way - but other than slow response to communication I have no complaints at all. Great PC, neat wiring, and have done everything in a really quick turn around time.
On current experience I have no hesitation in recommending them.
I know there other threads that suggest to the contrary of what you r claiming.
Some people have been ripped of in the past so how can you actually vouch for what you r saying to be true?
Futhermore when did you buy you pc and why did go infor repairs and what did dino actually find out what was wrong with it???????
I cannot see that Renato is claiming anything he is merely relating his experience with Dino PC.
As far as people being ripped off what is your basis for this statement? Is it blueroobbo's statement of taking them to court for a refund
Do you know the outcome of this 8month old dispute?
We have CatTrading recommendoing Novatech and lennon0910 placing them in the "terrible experience" category. You have not asked them to vouch what they are saying is true.
These people are merely relating their experience.
So far in a thread that goes back to December 07 there are three bad experiences and one good.
There are lot worse than this.
