Unfortunately, the Nikon does not have an optical viewfinder, which means you will have to use the LCD screen to take the pics. This will inevitably lead to reduced battery time.

All seems very good cameras.

Or if you aren't to worried about having a brand name camera, have a look in an local Asda.

I brought my Vivitar digital just over 12 month ago. It cost about £140,

spec, includes 3.3m pixels, a very good beginners camera (SD expandable card) takes a very good quality photo indeed. At the time I brought it, kodack ect were all priced at about £160-£180 for there basic digital of only 2m pixels and had less features on them.

i recommend the canon A60 for £99.99 from Amazon or the Canon A70. Alternatively, shop around and you might find a Fuji S5000 on the cheap (I own one and can't recommend it enough!)

Also have a look @ click here

If you want a surprisingly good camera at a low price get a PersonCam from 7 about £17.00! yes £17.00. VGA resolution but better than you might think have a look at gallery site.
Works in very low light levels bit of a battery eater if you keep it in your pocket I just take out the batteries when not using. Once you take pictures you have to keep the batteries in until you download them no card only on board ram 8mb.
No affiliation with 7 Day shop by the way.
