Desktop base unit for £500?

  lucozade9 15:56 03 Mar 2007

Could anyone give me any pointers as to what base unit to buy for around £500?

I already have a monitor and 5.1 from my current pc so im just after the base unit.

It will mainly be used for things such as email, surfing net, ms office and a bit of basic gaming so im not looking for any thing to fancy just something that will last and do the basics properly.

Cheers for your suggestions

Go into any PCW and ask to buy just the base unit without a monitor, they reduce the price by £100+

PS, you can customize one of their units by adding extra memory etc to bring up towards your budget
