For the price, a good deal. However, depends how you will be using the pc. If not too bothered about games or programs demanding high graphics quality, should be OK, although Vista Home is very basic and would be better off with Home Premium. If all you want is to use Internet, e-mail,word process, music & photo strorage etc, then looks OK.

I've been looking around and came up with a few alternatives to consider. These 4 seem to have good feedback in the forums and good pricing:-

Cougar click here

PCOption click here

NSYS click here

Worthwhile checking them all for best price & service before making a decision.

It's a bargain.

If I was buying it I'd want Vista Home Premium and 2GB ram.

And I would also want to know if a graphics card could be added later if the onboard graphics ever proved inadequate.

how important to you is the after sales service
i find dell not to bo the cheapest but dells after sales service is one of the best
so thats why i went to dell if you want cheapest
you will find cheaper somewhere else

in the end if you buy cheapest then if it goes wrong do not complain about the poor customer
