Dell Outlet store- any good for a new laptop?

Hi there,
I'm looking to replace my desktop with a laptop to free up some space in the house. I have been looking at a few well priced bits of kit in the dell outlet store and it seems pretty good. Does anyone have any experience with this store? Could anyone recommend another laptop to replace a desktop pc (not used for gaming) for about £500 to 800? Many thanks,

There are a number of Dell outlets specialising in Dell returns, refurbished, overstocks. Dell direct sales also have various price concessions on same model specifications, with special discounts, 'free' upgrades depending on sales advert codes. Sometimes you might be able to 'negotiate' prices with the sale agents, at certain times of the sales month. All this can make the deal more financially attractive.

Regarding the choice, then this would depend on your exact wants and specifications. Dell have ranges to suit most needs, the 1750(?) is worthy of consideration.

The new studio 17 laptops are calling me.

If onboard graphics are okay then Tesco have the one on Dell's site at £399, on the dell site it's £499. (I wish I had the £400).

On Dell's site you can pimp a studio 17 with a 256mb HD 3750 graphics card, 250GB HDD, 2ghz core2duo, 2gig RAM etc for £669 delivered.
