Dell Inspiron 5150 laptop - Good Service

I have a three year old Dell Inspiron laptop which started having major problems about three to four months ago. The laptop started crashing every time it was moved, not just picked up but even nudged. I began to think it was a problem with the hard drive and even invested in a new hard drive which I replaced, however this did not solve the problem. At the same time I surfed the net and found several sites with information regarding the same problem with this particular model, I also found that there were a large group of people in the United States getting together to start a class action against Dell as this problem seemed to be widespread. To get to the point after discussion with Dell on a couple of occassions they evnetually agreed to do a 'One off' repair for free. I now have a three year old laptop with a new Motherboard and controller. Many thanks to Dell for good service, but it does pay to be persistant and of course polite even if your patience does wear thin at times.
