Dell Dimension 3000

Hi all, i`m thinking of buying a pc and the dell dimension 3000 looks ok for my needs, has anyone heard good or bad things about the 3000, thanks in advance.

You're getting a much better offer with the Dell Dimension 5100 right now.

Dimension 3000 is fine for basic activities like running office applications, web surfing, e-mail etc.. It does not have an AGP slot so you are severely limited if you wish to add a graphics card (accepts PCI card - note, this is not the same as PCI express).

It will run many games but not the latest ones.

As mentioned, you can get better deals. I suggest you look at click here for recent offers from Dell. These normally require you to purchase from the business part of the site rather than the home section. I have not heard of any non-businesses being refused when they purchase through the business section.
