Custom PC for gaming, help needed !!!!

Im fairly new to all this computer stuff, but id like to be able to play games and have a fairly decent computer.

What do you guys think of this set-up, and good??

Like you I followed people advice on here which proved very usefull. They recomended going for a full size tower as a midi case will limit the space avaible for upgrades.

Have a look at prices on Overclockers UK I think you could get a gaming rig under £900.00 built round the ATI 5850 1GB

it's a good system - you'll want a bigger power supply though otherwise that will probably be fairly noisy..
*also it's worth another £30 for the 5850 graphics card over the current 5830.
*also consider a bigger hard drive.
*for future proofing take a look at a motherboard with USB 3.0
*great screen, i have it and love it.

you should be able to get all of the above for roughly the same price as it is at the moment, the system specified here looks fairly expensive for what it actually is. looks at suppliers like Cyberpower:
