Just put Cougar in the search box, it might give you some various answers, comments and suggestions.

Another one to consider click here - select the OS you require. Works out to about £710 incl del (for XP Home). Overall value is slightly better than the C-E system, with some better components as follows:

• Antec 900 - much better case
• Corsair TX 650W - more powerful & modern PSU, better for upgrading components in the future
• Pre-overclocked quad-core CPU - probably on par with the E8500 in most tasks, but will perform better in situations where the additional cores are utilised
• 8800GT - much better than the 8600GTS for gaming. The 8600GTS will be OK for 'lighter' games, but more demanding games will struggle.

More pre-overclocked systems click here. G

Consider another with a 8800GT click here for ~£630 delivered, configured to the following spec:

- Intel® Core 2 Duo E8500
- Asus P5N-E SLI
- 4GB DDR2 800mhz (2x 2GB)
- 750GB S-ATAII 3.0Gb/s
- 20x DVD±RW DL S-ATA Lightscribe
- 20x DVD±RW DL S-ATA Lightscribe (2nd optical drive)
- NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT 512MB
- Onboard 5.1 Audio
- Microsoft® Windows XP Home SP2
- 580W Hiper Type-M Silent
- Coolermaster Cavalier 3
- 3 Year Bronze Warranty

Notice that this has 4Gb RAM & the better 8800GT graphics.

You can buy 2.1 speakers, a better soundcard (IF required) & wireless PCI adaptor from elsewhere - e.g. click here, click here) & click here = a grand total of £52 delivered (btw, free del if you spend £50 incl VAT).

So for £18 less than the C-E system, you're getting double the RAM & a much better graphics card. G

nice. is there a problem with 4gb ram with XP though?

Another with only speakers required click here for ~£660 deliverd, configured to the following spec:

- AMD Phenom 9550 AM2+ (quad-core CPU)
- Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe
- 4.0GB Corsair DDR2 800mhz XMS2 (2x 2GB)
- 2x 500GB S-ATAII 3.0Gb/s
- 20x DVD±RW DL S-ATA Lightscribe
- 20x DVD±RW DL S-ATA (2nd optical drive)
- ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB
- Onboard 7.1 Audio
- Microsoft® Windows XP Home SP2
- Wireless 802.11G PCI card
- 580W Hiper Type-M Silent
- Asus TA-210
- 3 Year Bronze Warranty

Notice the 4Gb RAM high-quality RAM, TWO 500Gb hard drives, better graphics in the HD 4850 (better than the 8800GT even) & wireless adaptor all included in the price.

This won't be as good as some of the other systems mentioned (only marginally lower performance), but it's the best value. G

"is there a problem with 4gb ram with XP though?" - any 32-bit OS (incl Vista) will recognise ~3.5Gb, but there'll be no performance problem. G
