checking past info about bank acc

Just wondered is it possible to go back and check about the offers made by banks etc
I need to check on a offer from 5 years ago by bank offering a guarantee on their FTSE bond

I just wanted to see the promises and the actual offer
It was a 5 year you get back all the money and 20% or a % of the rise in the FTSE etc up to a certain amount
it was by Alliance and Leicester
Just thought there might be somewhere on line to check these offers

This site may be able to help, click here. It archives old sites, i was able to see my banks site from 4 yrs ago.

Just type the url into the watbackmachine search box, it may throw up other sites of the same name, so you may have to search for the one you want (if they have it).

Hope this helps.

Ask Alliance and Leicester for the information. If they refuse, then ask again under the Freedom of Information Regulations.

Banks and financial institutions have such a large volume of special offers and discounts, that it would be best to seek the information from the provider, than trying to find it in an archive somewhere.
