just looking through the ebuyer weekly flyer - this camera is available for £129 click here - it's in the John Lewis Catalogue at £219 - it gets excellent reviews- amazon have it at £150 so this looks like a good price.

Looks OK to me. I have a Minolta Z1 which is 3.3mps and have printed up to A4 with very good results.

You might like to check out click here in case there are some higher resolution cameras (4mps and above) around your budget price.

The higher the resolution the better, but make sure they have "optical zoom".

I have a 5mp sony dsc-v1 just posted the info in case any other members are interested - I know the canon is a very good camera.

My son got the Canon A70 a few months ago at an offer price of £149 so, as the A75 is basically a slightly upgraded model (as is the A80), this appears to be a particularly good buy.

The A70 certainly takes cracking pix and is well featured.

I've had a Canon A75 for three months and I'm chuffed to bits with it.

The price of your Canon A75, by the way, is £132..:-)

Note from the ebuyer reviews that one buyer's review states: "...completed the package by buying a 512mb 40x Compact Flash card, some 1800 Rechargable bateries and a Small Targus case."

Rather a lot of batteries for one digital camera...:-)

georgemac & Stuartli: I see its £133.36, (incl VAT), plus £4.22 p/p.
