Can you please show me how to get this Dell

at the price it's advertised at? I don't want any extras; just the DimensionTM 3100 @ £299.

Thanks in advance

click here I hope this links ok. If not on dells web site when you go to select it will automatically add a three year warantee. To get back down to your price just reselect 1year warantee.

You need to change the support option to 1 year collect and return which subtracts £98.70.

Sorry it did not work. On your link now provided choose "customise and buy" then rechoose the 1 year warantee.

I'll give it another go. Post later.....

try > click here <

It's an 1100 rather than a 3100, (not sure what the difference is?), but it's pretty similar, and comes with a 17" TFT, and is only £289 inc VAT and DEL.

Again you'll need to change the support to 1 year return to base, then click update price as above.

Found the route eventually.

Thanks again.

In my paper the offer applied to phone orders only - in very, very small print.

Web User magazine have queried Dell's way of altering prices.

As a result Dell have made it slightly clearer, to customers visiting their web site, of how the price is hiked up to cover extra warranty.

Obviously not clear enough though...
