BT has lowered the number of registrations needed for some exchanges to be converted to broadband in a bid to speed up the roll-out of ADSL in the UK.

And about time too! TC.

Wouldn't a strong representation to Oftel, like a petition say, help folk in more remote areas? Or the local MP(s) perhaps gaining the ear of someone influential.

my post,

I was at a meeting the other evening and found that OnyxNet charge £60 installation (for limited period) and only £70 per month BB connection charge. BT charge just under £150 per month for a maximum 20 computers. OnyxNet give unlimited computer connection.
