BT lowers registration numbers for broadband

BT has lowered the number of registrations needed for some exchanges to be converted to broadband in a bid to speed up the roll-out of ADSL in the UK.

Just looked (with fingers crossed) to see if we can get it in our area for business use, not yet but residential customers can.

Wouldn't a strong representation to Oftel, like a petition say, help folk in more remote areas? Or the local MP(s) perhaps gaining the ear of someone influential.

I was at a meeting the other evening and found that OnyxNet charge £60 installation (for limited period) and only £70 per month BB connection charge. BT charge just under £150 per month for a maximum 20 computers. OnyxNet give unlimited computer connection.
