Adobe Acrobat or Alternative

  Dannyb 09:37 14 Nov 2005

Can anybody advise as to whether I would necessarily need Adobe Acrobat to create PDF files and read them, or is there a free, or much cheaper, and just as good alternative out there somewhere? Thanks

The free OpenOffice suite can create PDF files from documents, although I don't think it can edit PDF files.

I also use Foxit , small and quick,a lot better than Adobe. If i click on a PDF it just appears no messing about.
