Adding memory to notebook

  LinH 18:30 08 Feb 2005

I have a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo L 7300, a nice little machine but with 64 meg ram taken for graphics from a total of 256, a tad slow. I decided to add some memory to it, but when I looked underneath there was no access cover visible. It seems to me that I've either got to take the keyboard out (how do you do that?) or unscrew the machine into two halves. Having never worked on a notebook before, expert advice would be welcomed please, even if it's just a terse 'take it to a repairer'.
Any suugestions anyone?

Many thanks in advance.

Contact Fujitsu-Siemens, 08702 434397 at national rate and they may be able to help. There should be a panel, usually upper middle on the back, that has 2 tiny screws to release it though. They can be very well hidden.

Thanks Gandalf, I rang them and it turns out that you have to take the keyboard out to access the memory modules. We live and learn!
