Keithrow--Is this via a mailshot.Just returned from the local Tesco's and didn't notice anything special, except reduced priced DVD players.

There are flyers advertizing the reduction, 20% off all items previously mentioned.

In my local Tesco, there is no mention of the sale but they do have the Acer Aspire in their January Offers section.

Maybe the 20% is only at 'Extras'.

On the 'instore flyer', it does say 'Subject to Availability, while stocks last' but MK, Kingston, had plenty of choice.

I drove past a Tesco store this morning that was advertising 20% off digital cameras and memory cards.

I noticed because the store in question is only small and I hadn't appreciated that they sold anything but groceries.

On the shelf today in the local store.Acer Aspire was £498.00/then £479.00/now £383.20. Looks a nice machine.Spin-up between the laptop or a £124.00 sat nav, the sat nav won. Thanks Keithrow.

My local had in additon to the Aspire above, an Acer Travelmate 4021 WLMI Centrino Pentium M 1.6, DVD dual layer for £398. Smaller hard drive than the Aspire but only £15 more for a Centrino.

I managed to pick up 2 Acer Aspire machines yesterday from Tesco's, one for me and one for 80 year old Dad who wants to get into computing. Good price at least £100 cheaper than ebuyer, easy to set up, recognised my home networking with no problem. Very impressed so far.
