Just wanted to know if I can install the new Snow Leopard on a Powerbook G4 12.1 1.33 GHz. It is currently running

Snow Leopard only runs on Intel based Macs.

I'm not doubting your advise for one minute, but the person selling the Snow Leopard has said it's compatible? So I'm a little confused.

He is does not know what he is talking about.

I'm not sure if Bremmer means it wont work or you just need to make sure that the mac you have currently is a intel based system.

dan1611 has a G4 PowerPC Mac not an Intel based Mac.

Smnow Leopard will not run on a PowerPC.

dan1611 just out of interest what shop was it that told you it would work

That got you all posting. Th eseller is on e..y auction site. I must confess to still being a little dense on this subject, I've looked at the link suggested, just to clarify so would we need a box set, because it would include all the other updates to iLife, garageband etc, which wouldn't be on the Mac OS X v10.6.3 Snow Leopard?

Thanks again. Also how much approx any links would be great.

Contrary to what the seller has told you Snow Leopard will not work in your system. See bremner's 16:02 post.
