Synchronising mailboxes between Mac and iPad

  eddleetham 14:27 24 Jan 2020

I have just switched from Thunderbird to Mail on my Mac and successfully imported all my mail from Thunderbird sorted in the same folders as in Thunderbird. They appear in a new folder called Import under the heading On My Mac. At the same time I have connected both Mail on my Mac and Mail on my iPad to iCloud, so that I can now see my Mac emails on my iPad. However the iPad obviously doesn't show On My Mac, so I can't see any of my old emails.

Is there any way that I can link Mac and iPad together so that I can see all the emails imported from Thunderbird on both devices?
