My PC at work used Win98 (now upgraded to Win2000Prof) running Excel 2000. Pentium 3 with 256MB ram. Home PC runs XPHome with 512MB ram and Athlon XP1600 running Excel XP. Why does the same macro run on the work PC run tens of times faster than the one at home? What takes seconds at work (either version of windows) takes minutes (I've timed it!) at home. Any ideas?? Thanks.
