Right time to buy a MacBook Air?

  ddudz 17:35 11 Aug 2014

I am looking to buy the 11-inch Macbook Air 128gb. Currently it is at a cheaper price of £750 since a better but not new model will be coming later this year. The new 12-inch model has been delayed to 2015.

My question is if the new one comes out later this year does that mean they'll stop selling the current one?

So is this the right time to buy a Macbook Air? Thanks

The right time to buy is when you want it.

Fruit Bat is right, although it's always worth checking sites such as Macworld to check there isn't a new one just about to be released.

The latest MacBook Air (review) is only a month or so old so there's unlikely to be a newer one for some time so now is a great time to buy.

Apple hasn't confirmed it is going to sell a new one later this year or a 12-inch one in 2015, although you're right about the rumours: Retina MacBook Air release date rumours, 12in Retina MacBook Air may not launch until 2015
