Remove Databases stored by websites

How can I remove databases stored on my macbook pro by websites please? Have tried Safari-preferences-manage website data but they refuse to budge. Also tried Finder-Go-Library-Safari-databases and remove folder but no luck. I have 4 databases 3 from companies I have purchased from and one from a site I browsed today. These databases have all been stored very recently. Normal cookies and caches remove as usual but not databases.

Do you mean the urls that are stored in your browsing history? If that's the case you can delete your history in Safari - just go to settings and select Safari - you can alter your browsing history there.

If that isn't what you mean, please try to be more specific - Safari will not usually download anything other than a site's html content unless you specifically ask it to.
