Reclaiming disk space that is left unpartitioned

  magn8p 01:32 05 Jan 2018

After several create-delete partitions, I somehow managed to make over 700G of my 1TB hard drive unusable.

I have a 2012 iMac with High Sierra.

As can be seen in the , you will find out that only 320GB of the total 1TB is being used. My question is:

  1. How can i merge the unused/unpartitioned space with the existing usable partition.
  2. If that's not possible, how can I create a new partition and utilise the 700+ GB
