Norton pro or MaCafee

  levyo1 23:01 19 Nov 2003

I used to have norton 2002 but lost it when i put in new hard drive(yes i know wheres the disc/serial No)Basically gone. I now have firewall, free through AOL (MaCafee)i have tried to contact symantec "no good" to tell them the problem cant get through"no contacts at all, peed off NOW . So now do I go for MaCafee to protect me?Have they got A better customer relations.
The bit that gets me is that I have already paid for updates with Norton.

Any Ideas

Personally I prefer McAfee but I doubt if there's much in it. We do seem to spend a lot of time on this forum dealing with Norton problems. Fewer with McAfee.

There are free alternatives e.g. click here

nahhh I disagree ...norton2004 is excellent

I cant stand mcafee with that stupid firewall popup asking questions every 2minutes.

sorry norton04 wins hands down for me!

I cant fault AVG antivirus too and thats here
