No Activity Monitor - slow Macbook

  psaly 16:51 04 Dec 2015

I've a late 2009 Unibody white Macbook, 8GB RAM, ML 10.8.5. Keeps slowing down and hanging after a few hours (not films/games, just normal stuff), but I can't find Activity Monitor - not in Applications. Any thoughts, please, on how to get AM back or how to address problem?

To find Activity Monitor just cmb+space and type Activity Monitor into Spotlight.

It's in the Utilities folder by the way.
