Macbook air bluetooth not working

  borgna 08:51 15 Jun 2019

Hi my bluetooth on my MacBook air has randomly stopped working so I cannot airdrop. It says bluetooth unavailable and i cannot click on the button the says "turn bluetooth on" because it is all just greyed out. I have tried deleting the bluetooth file into the trash bin as well as doing the shut down and reboot pressing the shift alt R and M keys (if those are the ones I remember correctly).

Does anyone know how I could get it working again? Thanks

Disable Bluetooth and wait several seconds and then turn it on. Remove all USB devices (mouse, keyboard etc) and then reboot your Mac and then reconnect them. Remove current Bluetooth preferences then reboot your Mac. ... Try to find the “com.apple.Bluetooth.plist” and “com.apple.Bluetooth.plist.lockfile” files. got this info from Macreports
