Logitech G11 Keyboard macros

Just getting to grips with the new keyboard. I would like to program one Macro to enter Standby and another to Shutdown.

The secret is to use keystrokes, as it seems you can't record mouse clicks.

If you use the Windows key instead of the Start button, you can see the 'shortcut' letters for the commands.

Standby: Windows u s

Turn Off: Windows u u

Restart: Windows u r

These macros only work when the Desktop is showing. If programs are in reduced display or minimised, I have to click on the Desktop to select it.

Otherwise, only the Windows key is activated.

Still don't have a reliable macro for Standby, etc.

My old Keyboard has a Standby button which doesn't invoke the Windows key process I have been trying. It must use an executable, such as 'standby.exe', though that one doesn't do it. Any suggestions, please?

In which case it will be a Shortcut, not a Macro. I've tried 'reboot.cmd', but that didn't work either.
