Just bought a new LaCie d2 Thunderbolt 3 6tb HDD for my new imac 21.5" the drive shows fine on my desktop and is mounted as it should be, however, when I install LaCie's desktop manager software it just displays the message 'Compliant Device Not Found' I have followed the installation instructions to the letter. Drive is connected via usb-c. Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks for the reply did all that and still same result, am beginning to think it's not compatible with the drive or usb-c. It isn't listed on the available software section of the support page of the drive. click here also seen postings elsewhere mentioning the issue.
