Broadband New Computer MAC Spoofing

  hemmy 12:12 28 Oct 2003

I am about to get a new computer.
I want to spoof the MAC on my new network card so that I can use my broadband connection on my new computer.
I do not want to register my new network card with my ISP.
I do not want to network my old and new computers.

I read an article on how to spoof, change, the MAC on my new card but I cannot find it now I need it.

Can anybody help?

Idiot that I am.

When I checked my Broadband providers web site I find that I can register up to 5 MACs. So I have no need to spoof my original MAC - yet.

Thanks Lozzy for your help. By mooching around from your link I did find some useful information. But now, fortunately, I don't need to try to understand it.
