Books App Keeps Crashing on MacBook Air

  GenerallySleepy 07:53 15 Apr 2019

I have been using the books app on my MacBook Air, and some of the files that I added recently must have been corrupt or something. I click on the app and it opens for about 1 second and then crashes. Consistently.

Is there a way to edit the library without going through the app? I figure I could delete the books I added recently that are causing the problem.

I also thought I could delete the app and reinstall it, then put all of my books back on, but the mac won't let me delete the app, saying it is "required by MacOS."

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. -Christian
