Fuji Xerox Printers has launched Xerox Partner Print Services (XPPS) for resellers across A/NZ.
Based on a software-as-a-service model, XPPS provides tools, processes and training required by partners to offer an end-to-end service-based print management solution.

The vendor's current PagePack MPS offering will still be available to selected resellers, mainly targeted at businesses with less than five devices.
Fuji Xerox Printers, channel and operations manager, Anthony Toope, said it has close to 100 partners signed up under its PagePack program, and XPPS was the next step up in helping partners with customers that require more enhanced services.
It is hoping to sign up about 20 - 30 accredited partners under XPPS within the next six months.
"It is a multi-brand program that allows us to talk outside of our current network of partners to an expanded group of system integrators or dedicated service-led partners in the market," he said. "It also recognises the importance of the channel in terms of the best way to go to market to suit the needs of SMEs. Globally, we've invested millions of dollars into developing the program's tools, training and accreditation, bringing in the best of breed to assist partners." Implementing XPPS will require significant changes to business and sales processes and partners must achieve technical, sales and delivery certification. The vendor will work with selected partners to assist in the development of a business plan and staff training.
Partners will be equipped with the ability to provide efficient strategies for customers through assessing their print output, identifying opportunities for improvement and designing and implementing new print policies and processes.
Accredited partners using the XPPS platform will pay a monthly service base charge.
Fuji Xerox Printers A/NZ general manager, David Borg, said it noticed a shift in SMEs moving away from buying printers to investing in efficient printing solutions with predictable costing structures.
"With a range of tools and processes, XPPS can help selected partners compete more effectively in the changing marketplace, move to lasting contractual agreements with customers, build revenue, and enhance the value of their businesses," Borg said. In the coming weeks, events will be held throughout the country to educate partners about the new program.
