In a bid to expand the global presence of its VoIP and unified communications apps, Voxox has signed a partnership agreement with Ghana-based Telereliance and Teleficient, of Sierra Leone, to roll out services in Ghana, Sierra Leone, Gambia and Liberia.
Founded in 2006 as Telcentris, Voxox is a U.S.-based, comprehensive cloud-based rich communication service provider. It offers apps that provide users with, among other features, free peer-to-peer voice and video calls, low-cost VoIP calling to landlines and mobiles, social network aggregation, large file transfer and even real-time IM and text messaging language transcription between approximately 50 languages.
For businesses, Voxox's mobile and desktop applications provide a suite of carrier-grade business phone systems, including hosted IP-PBX, SIP trunking and a hosted contact center.
The hosted cloud communication service powered by Voxox will be co-branded as ChatMore in Ghana and AwiKoneKt in Sierra Leone and other countries.
The iOS-enabled unified communications apps for ChatMore and AwiKoneKt will be available on the App Store soon, officials said.
