Facebook phone HTC First notifications

It's the week of the Facebook phone and even more leaked have arrived, this time showing what looks like a final software user interface. See also: Facebook Home, HTC First FAQ: What you need to know.

Facebook is expected to announce the Facebook phone, or HTC First, later today at a US event. However, images of the phone with the customised interface have been leaked via 9to5Google. See also: Where to watch Android Facebook Phone event live.

The trio of images show a good look at what the customised Facebook Home app will look like and how the social network has woven its way through Android.

As you can see from the image above there's a combination of phone notifications like a missed call alongside Facebook messages and more. With the full screen photograph in the background, it looks quite stylish.

The other images show the sharing options which don’t look any different to other Android smartphones and a customised app menu with access to Facebook functions at the top – status, photo and check-in. Facebook, messenger and Instagram sit alongside regular Android apps like Maps, Chrome and Play Store.

The actual device displaying the Facebook interface is called the HTC First which, according to leaked specs, has a 4.3in screen with 720p resolution, 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Storage will be 16GB with no microSD card slot for expansion.

Remaining specs include a 5Mp rear facing camera, a 1.6Mp, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and support for 4G LTE networks.

We're interested to see more of the interface and hopefully we will do later today with Facebook's event scheduled for 6pm UK time.
