Amazon has expanded its PickUp Location Programme allowing customers to collect orders from more nearby places. See also: Best Black Friday 2014 tech deals.
The move includes the addition of more than 10,500 Post office branches taking the total of PickUp Locations across the UK to over 16,000. Existing locations include 'Pass My Parcel' stores, Collect+ stores and Amazon Lockers.

"Customers can collect their Amazon orders from over 16,000 Pickup Locations across the UK," said Christopher North, Managing Director of Amazon.co.uk. "Pickup Locations have become the delivery method of choice for many shoppers. Offering the collection of packages from Post Offices is another great way of providing our customers with the highest levels of convenience."
Delivery to Post Office branches is free for Amazon Prime members otherwise a First Class rate is charged and customers just need to show identification to collect their parcel. Read: Amazon Fire TV review.
The fastest method is Pass My Parcel which is run in partnership with Smiths newsagents. Customers can order as late at 11:45am for collection at 4pm the same day. For a limited time, Amazon Prime members can try the new Same-Day pick-up service free of charge. It's available at more than 500 Smiths stores.
