Not content with merely releasing two of the best flagship phones this year in the Find X2 and Find X2 Pro, Oppo has followed the pair up with the Find X2 Neo and Find X2 Lite. The result? No matter what your budget, there’s an Oppo Find X2 phone that you should at least be considering buying.
They’re all 5G-enabled for blazing fast connectivity, all have beautiful AMOLED screens, and all pack 48Mp cameras for brilliant photography in just about any setting.
Find X2 Pro
At the top of the stack is the Find X2 Pro: a no-holds-barred monster of a phone that matches - and often beats - Samsung’s latest spec-for-spec.
The 6.7in screen is probably the best in any phone right now, with HDR10+ support and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling whatever you’re doing.
Powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor, 12GB of RAM and a massive 512GB storage it’ll handle any app or game you throw at it. And if you somehow run the 4,260mAh battery down you can top it up again in no time: 65W charging makes this the fastest phone to fill up in the UK right now, topping up to 97% in just half an hour in our testing.
Then there’s the camera. Oppo decided that a 48Mp main camera wasn’t enough, so it also packed the Pro with a second 48Mp lens for ultra-wide shots, and a 5x optical zoom periscope lens for long-range shots.
Then there’s waterproofing, the striking orange leather finish, 4K video, a fingerprint scanner in the screen...we could go on. In fact the Find X2 Pro has such strong specs that we called it “almost perfect” in our review, and we don’t say that lightly.
Find X2 Neo
The Pro is fantastic, but if it’s a little pricey for you then there’s the Neo. It’s about half the price of the Pro, but despite that still shares almost all its best features, with a high refresh rate, fast charging, and a quad camera setup - and it just happens to be the thinnest 5G phone in the UK right now.
The curved 6.5in screen keeps the phone slim and compact, but with a 90Hz refresh rate it still looks the part. A Snapdragon 765G processor guarantees great gaming performance, especially backed up by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space. 30W fast charging will keep it topped up no matter what too.
You still get a 48Mp main camera for crisp photos and great lowlight shots, with a 2x zoom lens and a wide-angle to back it up, plus a 2Mp monochromatic lens to deliver better portrait photography.
Some of these specs are what you’d expect to find in a £1,000 phone, and the fact that you can get them at this price means that for many, we bet the Neo will be the one.
Find X2 Lite
If your budget can’t quite stretch that far though, don’t fret. The Find X2 Lite drops the price down a little further, but still has it where it counts. In fact at £399 it’s officially the cheapest 5G phone right now, but still manages to fit in a quad camera, fast charging, and an AMOLED screen - almost unheard of at this price.
You still get the same 48Mp main camera as the Neo, backed up by an ultrawide, a depth sensor, and the monochromatic lens - not to mention the 32Mp selfie lens.
Despite the price difference you still get the same Snapdragon 765G processor as the Neo, with 8GB of RAM at a price point where you’re normally like to get 6.
That means you’re getting 5G, great gaming performance, a quad camera, 30W fast charging, and almost certainly the best screen on any phone below £500. Not bad at all.
