Amazon Prime Day 2018 is in full swing with deals galore. We've cherry-picked the best tech deals to save you time.

And one of the bargains is TP-Link's Smart Plug. This gadget plugs into any mains socket and uses Wi-Fi to connect to your router - and the internet.

With the Kasa app installed on your phone, you can turn the switch on and off from anywhere. This has many uses. You can check if you left the iron on or turn on the kettle from your sofa.
