Bitdefender Total Security 2017 is the company's full-strength, no-compromise security suite, a powerful mix of antivirus, firewall, browsing protection, parental controls, anti-theft system, encryption and password manager.

It's a long list of features, but a well-designed interface means most common tasks are just a click or two away.

The major addition this time is wi-fi protection. Every time you connect to a new network, Bitdefender analyses it and warns of any vulnerabilities.

Bitdefender's Startup Optimizer can now be used remotely, allowing you to check a device and disable unwanted applications from anywhere in the world.

Enhanced Windows 10 support means Total Security can use native desktop notifications and the Action Center to keep you up-to-date with product events.

The product also works on Windows 10's Anniversary Update, and is fully compatible with Edge.

Finally, it's all wrapped up in a redesigned UI for speedier access to the tools you need.

PLEASE NOTE: the download link takes you to Bitdefender's beta site. You'll need to create a free Bitdefender account and log in before you can download and install the software. Instructions are on the beta page.
