Coffee culture is currently in ascendance. It is no longer customary to go to Starbucks to ask for ridiculously obnoxious drinks such as a Caramel Macchiato, Venti, Skim, Extra Shot, Extra-Hot, Extra-Whip, Sugar-Free. Or any others for that matter. The gourmet coffee scene is blowing up and coffee is now art.

From the way beans are roasted to water hardness and so on, everything is taken in to account in order to make your perfect wake-me-up for any part of the day. Certain blends work more effectively as a single shot, whereas others pair perfectly with milk to make a beverage such as a flat white or a stumpy.

These gourmet coffee shops are popping up all over the place, so it’s always hard to know where to go to get your perfect coffee. So, there are many apps popping up to help you in your quest for the perfect coffee.

Cupper does just that. Currently only available in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Manhattan, Seattle, Portland, Austin, Philadelphia and Nasheville. It’s an insider app for people who want to get the best gourmet/craft coffee possible. It features local coffee companies which provide the highest quality coffee.

What’s unique about Cupper is that they recently launched Cupper Market. Where you can purchase fresly roasted coffee, from the independent speciality coffee shops. This makes it easy for you to get your fix at home as well if you are one of those people who fancy themselves as a barista!

Verdict

The app does a great job of finding great coffee. The only downside is the US-only availability. But this will increase as the app grows.
