Best PS4 Deals 2018

These days, there's basically no good reason to ever buy the PS4 at full price. Whether you're looking for the PS4 Slim or the PS4 Pro, the consoles are always available bundled with games - usually for the same price as the console on its own.

Keep an eye out and you can often find the console bundled with multiple games, or with accessories like headsets or extra controllers, making it even better value. And if you don't mind waiting, games consoles are regular features of big sale seasons like Black Friday or Christmas, when prices tend to get slashed to draw gamers in.

The same is true of the games themselves. If you absolutely must play a game at launch you should expect to pay the full price, but if you don't mind waiting a few weeks then prices tend to fall fast, and even top-selling games often go down to less than half price within a couple of months.

You'll usually find the best prices on physical games as retailers try to clear stock for new releases, but Sony's digital store also hosts regular sales where discounts can go as high as 90 percent off, so be sure to keep an eye out.
