Nintendo Switch Deals

The Switch is Nintendo's fastest selling games console in years, and it's easy to see why. The hybrid design means that the Switch can be used just as easily as a big screen home console as a petite portable, and you can instantly switch between the two using the included dock.

The Joy-Con controllers can clip to either side of the screen for gaming on the go, or can be used wirelessly when you have the Switch streaming to your TV - or when you want to set the tablet screen up on a pub table or on the train. Plenty of games even let you play multiplayer using one Joy-Con each, so there's multiplayer straight out of the box.

Switch games

Of course, none of that matters without a set of great games to play on it, and the Switch delivers here too. Launch title The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was quickly proclaimed one of the best games of the year, and Nintendo followed it up with Mario Kart 8, Arms, and Splatoon 2, along with one of the best third-party lineups it's had in years.

Switch games tend to have a steep RRP, in part thanks to Nintendo's custom cartridges, but if you don't mind waiting a little there are usually good discounts and price reductions, not to mention ways to get the console bundled with games.

As Nintendo improves stock prices will only improve, while the Switch is likely to be a firm favourite in big sales events like Black Friday and Boxing Day for years to come, which will mean even more ways to find cheap Switch games and accessories.
