The UK government announced a full lockdown to discourage people from leaving their homes – but exercise remains one of the a few exceptions to the rule. Whether you choose to go out for a jog to preserve your sanity or kick off at-home workouts, a Fitbit can help you keep track of your fitness goals while keeping you motivated.
Fitbit devices offer you in depth insights on your activity and movement. Certain models offer breathing exercises too and can also work with smart assistants like Amazon Alexa.
Here we're rounding up all the best Fitbit deals both across current and past models so you can pick one up at the best price.
Fitbit Premium free trial
As a response to the global effect of Covid-19 on the closure of public paces like gyms, Fitbit has extended its 7-day free trail of Fitbit Premium to an impressive 90 days for new customers – which is great incentive to stay fit while stuck indoors.
Fitbit Premium offers additional personalized health insights to Fitbit owners, like advanced sleep tools, and access to over 150 videos and audio work outs. The service otherwise costs £7.99/US$9.99 per month or £79.99/US$79.99 per year.
The easiest way to get the offer is through the app (trust us, we tried finding the offer on desktop and got nowhere) which is free on Android or iOS. After creating and logging into your account, select the 'Premium' icon at the bottom of the dashboard. You'll see options to sign up for either a monthly or annual subscription, which will activate the option to start your trial. Don't worry, you can cancel 24 hours before the trial ends, otherwise it auto-renews,

Hunting out the best Fitbit discounts
There are six activity trackers in Fitbit’s current range: Inspire, Inspire HR, Charge 3, Ace 2 (for children), the Versa range (with the Versa 2, Versa Lite and Special editions) and Ionic Fitbit smartwatches. You may also find older models heavily reduced. Their features vary significantly, as do their prices.
Discontinued Fitbits offer great value
Consider just-discontinued models, too, for bargains. For example, the Charge 3 was released only in October 2018, so the Charge 2 is at the top of the bargains. The Charge 3 may be newer but the Charge 2 was our top-rated fitness tracker last September, so is well worth considering at a cut-price, and is available in a wide array of colours.
Scan is offering the Blue/Grey Rose Gold Charge 2 (Limited Edition) for £77.99.
Fitbit is still selling the original Versa, but we expect this to be discontinued in the next couple of months.
