With summer here and the sun shining as we get close to summer, it's a great time to get healthy and active. There are some great deals on Fitbit activity trackers to keep you motivated! Fitness trackers are super popular, and that's a great sign that these health gadgets are more than just a fad you get bored with; they really work!

Fitbits will be the number one choice for many looking to get healthier, through exercise, sport, and better quality sleep.

Amazon Prime Day Fitbit Deals

Fitbit Versa family deals: Versa Lite, Versa, and Special Edition - from £109

Fitbit Charge 3 family deals - from £95.99

Most Fitbit users keep their healthy promises longer thanks to the great mobile app and challenges with friends, colleagues and family. Fitbits have ruled the fitness tracker market for years, and the current tracker line-up is better than ever thanks to the introduction of the company’s first fully fledged smartwatches, the Versa and Ionic.

We check the latest and best Fitbit deals, and can assure you (we've looked!) that there are no better roundups or indeed deals to be found elsewhere. If there's a bargain on Fitbits, it's here.

Also keep an eye out on this week's Amazon Prime Day deals, which run from 15th to 16th July this year. In the meantime, here's everything you need to know about Prime Day and how to score the best discounts.

Hunting out the best Fitbit discounts

There are six activity trackers in Fitbit’s current range: Inspire, Inspire HR, Charge 3, Ace 2 (for children) and the Versa (with Lite and Special editions) and Ionic Fitbit smartwatches. You may also find older models heavily reduced. Their features vary significantly, as do their prices.

There are some bargains on Amazon Prime Day: a Fitbit Charge 3 for £95.99, the cheapest we've ever seen it; and a Fitbit Versa for £139 (over £60 off the normal price!).

Fitbit's Summer Sale in the US has just gone live with $30 off the Versa, Charge 3 Special Edition, and Charge 3. The Ionic (Adidas version) gets $50 off too. You can get free two-day shipping on orders of $50 or more. The sale ends 20 July. Go to the Fitbit Store US to see all deals. As yet, Fitbit hasn't offered a summer sale in the UK.

Right now you can pick up the Inspire HR with a £10 discount and free Google Home Mini. The deal price comes to £79 from Currys PC World, which is currently running its Black Tag Summer Event. See all Summer Sales across the UK here.

Fitbit has recently reduced the price of its top-range Fitbit Ionic by £30 to £249.99, down from £279.99.

However, the cheapest we've seen the Fitbit Ionic smartwatch elsewhere is £199 from Amazon, which is £50 off the usual retail price.

There aren't as many deals on the smaller but just as able Fitbit Versa (it lacks only the Ionic's built-in GPS but can connect to your phone's GPS), though right now, you can get £37 off from Amazon or £30 off from Currys.

The Charge 3 is also available with £11 off from both Amazon and Currys bringing the price to £119.

You can also find recently discontinued models such as the Flex 2, Alta, Alta HR, Charge 2, and Zip (clip-on) online – see below.

Fitbit has updated its tracker for kids, the Fitbit Ace. Even though the Ace 2 is now on sale (it is available for £69.99, and is based on the Inspire), you can pick up the first-generation Ace from Amazon for £49.99 (£30 off), and Argos has the original version in Purple for just £39.99.

On the Fitbit accessory side, the Aria 2 wireless scale that syncs with your Fitbit tracker and app are down to £99.98 at Scan. It typically costs £119.99.

Discontinued Fitbits offer great value

Consider just-discontinued models, too, for bargains. For example, the Charge 3 was released only in October 2018, so the Charge 2 is at the top of the bargains. The Charge 3 may be newer but the Charge 2 was our top-rated fitness tracker as recently as September 2018, so is well worth considering at a cut-price, and is available in a wide array of colours.

The Charge 2 (regular edition) is available at Amazon for £101.45 and the Special Edition is available for £89.90.

The minimalist Flex 2 has also been discontinued on the Fitbit Store, but you can still find it on Amazon for £84.99. Keep an eye on Carphone Warehouse too, where it's expected to be in stock for £69.99.

The Inspire Fitbits have replaced the Alta and Alta HR models, so look out for bargains there, too. Right now the Alta HR is available for £71.15 from Scan£71.90 from Amazon and £74.99 from Argos.

We’ve got a complete guide to choosing the best Fitbit here. Fitbit also has a comparison tool which you can help you decide device is best for you.

It’s worth making a note of how much the Fitbit you’re hoping to buy costs right now, and determining how much you’d like to spend on one now. Here’s a rundown of the current (and discontinued) models and their RRPs:

Where to find Fitbit deals

You can find Fitbit deals around the web from various different retailers from time-to-time. It's worth checking them all if you're on the hunt for a great deal because you never know when a new discount might appear.

These are the most likely of places, so we'd recommend you check these first:

Don't forget to sign up for the 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime to get access to Lightning Deals 30 minutes early, as well as free next day delivery, as we've seen Fitbits as part of Amazon's daily deals quite often.

Amazon Prime Day is also on 15th to 16th July this year (so technically two days), so mark your calendars! We expect to see discounts across thousands of products, and Fitbits should be no exception, hopefully. Don't forget there are tonnes of other Summer Sales on now which are worth checking, though we'll post all Fitbit-related deals here.
