The Razr 5G is Motorola's latest folding phone with 5G connectivity. Its refines its original 2019 model, while making it clear that clam-shell phones aren't just a thing of the past.
While it doesn't look significantly different from its predecessor, the 5G model is lighter and more compact. The exterior features a polished 3D glass and 7000 series aluminum, while under the hood, you get a Snapdragon 765G processor, 256GB storage, 8GB RAM, and a 2800mAh battery.
As for the hinge – which, let's face it, is what you're really excited about – you can expect a lifetime of 200,000 flips, that's roughly 100 flips a day (the average person checks their phones 58 times a day, as the Guardian noted last year).
Though an exact release date hasn't been confirmed it's likely to be late September. We're keeping tabs on all the retailers that will be offering the new handset as they're announced, along with any pre-order deals.
How much does the Motorola Razr 5G cost?
The Razr 5G will cost £1,399, and while that's a staggering amount, it's still £100 less than the original Razr.
