Though since supplanted by the OnePlus 7T, the OnePlus 7 is still worth considering if you can find it, especially since it's now cheaper than ever. The 7 Pro, more excitingly, features a 6.67in super-smooth 90Hz Fluid AMOLED display and a pop-up selfie camera. This removes the notch and maximises screen space. The 7 Pro also features a triple-lens rear camera.

The 7 Pro 5G version includes Qualcomm's X50 modem, which allows the phone to connect to 5G networks, where available. See our separate round-up of the best 5G phones deals for other 5G handsets worth considering.

OnePlus 7 deals

OnePlus itself is still offering £100 off the price of every 7 Pro as a New Year's deal - meaning it's possible to get one for £599. You'll just need to use the code 'NEWYEAR' at checkout to grab the discount.

Meanwhile Amazon has the OnePlus 7 Pro for only slightly more at £605, for the 8GB RAM model in Mirror Grey. It's not quite as much of a discount as OnePlus is offering though you can get the 12GB RAM option which is £749 (at the time of writing), and is currently sold out from OnePlus itself.

OnePlus 7 trade-in deals

Another way to save is to trade-in an older phone when you buy a OnePlus 7 direct - whether that's a previous OnePlus or a phone from another manufacturer.

If you own a OnePlus 6T, you can trade that in too, for a value up to £100, while a OnePlus 6 could get you £90, with even more available from some rival flagships. See OnePlus' trade-in program to see how much your old device is worth.

Where to buy OnePlus 7 Pro 5G

The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G was originally available exclusively through EE in the UK, but has since also joined the BT 5G lineup - which makes sense, since they're part of the same company.

EE's cheapest 5G plan gets you 10GB data, unlimited minutes and texts for £49 per month and £50 upfront. You can choose from two add-ons as well ("Swappable Benefits") like a Music Data or Video Data Pass for unlimited streaming, global roaming or BT Sport - or drop to 1 benefit and up the data to 30GB for the same price. View this plan over at EE right now.

Meanwhile, BT's cheapest plan is a little more at £57 per month with £50 upfront, but nets you 12GB of data (6GB plus a '6GB data boost') along with unlimited minutes and texts.
