Caseology Envoy

Keep the back and sides of your iPhone 7 safe with the two layers of protection provided by the Caseology Envoy. Made with a layer of TPU and a layer of polycarbonate, this case offers a sturdy fit with a carbon fibre design that is nice and grippy.

Though the 7 Plus version is not available in the UK, US visitors can find it on Amazon for $12.99.

Greenwich Chrono Folio for iPhone 7

For a slick, sophisticated leather folio look no further than this one from Greenwich. It comes in a wax sealed (yep) presentation box and screams quality. And rightly so.

It doesn't hold cards but this means it remains slim and protective, with a subtle magnetic closure to keep your iPhone's screen safe. Simple and elegant.

It's also on sale for the iPhone 7 Plus here

Snakehive Vintage Two Tone Black/Burgundy Leather Wallet

Nothing better to craft an iPhone 7 case with than finest cowhide - so enter Snakehive. This is a lovely looking wallet case, particularly in this red and black hue, though there are other colours including a new pastel range too.

Three card slots and a folding back mean this is a great stand for video viewing too, while the inside of the case is a soft leather to protect that ever-crackable screen.

Spigen Rugged Armor Resilient iPhone 7 Case

Spigen’s flexible TPU case with carbon fibre and Air Cushion tech is a good choice for the clumsier amongst us.

With easy click buttons and a raised lip, you’ll also find that this case protects the sides and front of your iPhone, but there is a cutout to allow the Apple logo to shine through.

You can also find the iPhone 7 Plus version for this case from Spigen for £9.99 or $19.99 if you're in the US.

Griffin Survivor Clear Wallet for iPhone 7

Griffin's cases are always popular, so this new offering for the iPhone 7 is no exception. It has space for cards and cash, hence the 'Wallet' in its name, and the back is made with a clear polycarbonate to allow the colour of your iPhone to shine through (hence the 'Clear').

Proporta Aluminium Lined Slim Stand Case for iPhone 7

Proporta's gorgeous aluminium-lined stand case for iPhone 7 comes in various colours, including our favourite: Berry/Rose Gold (shown here).

It is both stylish and heavy-duty, and the stand functionality adds practicality into the mix too. All that, and the price tag is a very reasonable £19.95.

US shoppers can find the iPhone 7 Plus version of this case for $27.95 on Amazon or Proporta's website – while UK shoppers can buy the 7 Plus version directly from Proporta, (though you can also have the item shipped through the Amazon US link if you prefer).

Casetify DTLA Impact iPhone 7 case

This rugged case from Casetify is for those with an active lifestyle who like plain, smart design.

Drop test approved to 6.6ft military standards and with an inner bumper that absorbs impact through its honeycomb design, you'd be hard pressed to break your phone once it's clipped in.

The textured finish is great, and allows full access to all ports and buttons. With four colours to choose form you can't go wrong.

Available for the iPhone 7 Plus too via the above link.

Mujjo Leather Case for iPhone 7

Dutch luxury Apple case designers Mujjo have been quick to adapt their waxed vegetable-tanned leather iPhone cases for the latest versions. Each features Moulded Edge Technology for added durability at the phone's weakest points.

You don't want to damage your precious new phone, but the ways these cases look mean you'll be wary of spoiling them too. Even the insides are lined with suede to nestle your iPhone 7 in comfort.

iPhone 7 Plus version of this case is available on Amazon UK for £36.85, though you can buy it directly from Mujjo as well. US shoppers can find the 7 Plus version on Mujjo's website

Foxwood iPhone 7 Cement

The Foxwood Cement Hardshell is, as its name suggests, made partly from genuine cement. It’s no new brutalist monstrosity, though. The Foxwood Cement is actually aesthetically rather pleasing – especially compared to other more garish cases out there.

As you’d expect the cement adds a strong exterior that’s tough and prevents scratches and scuffs from damaging your phone.

The Cement Hardshell is not available in the US, though US shoppers could have it shipped through eBay if they're really keen on this case.

Snugg Dual Layer Slim Cover

Another dual layer option is Snugg’s, also made with TPU and polycarbonate.

This one has a nice pop of colour that some will prefer, and even comes with a lifetime guarantee that means you’ll be able to get the case replaced should something go wrong with it.

The iPhone 7 Plus version is available on Amazon for £14.99 or $12.99 if you're in the US.

Terrapin iPhone 7 TPU Gel Case

A cheap but cheerful option comes from Terrapin, with its TPU gel case made to be durable and shock absorbent. It comes in various different colours and will fit perfectly onto the back of the iPhone 7 and will cover the sides too.

The iPhone 7 Plus version can be found on Amazon for only £3.96. It is not available in the US, however.

Terrapin iPhone 7 Leather Case Wallet Flip Cover

We also really like Terrapin’s Leather Wallet, which is stylish and modern, but practical too, with space for cards and a stand functionality. It’s super-cheap at less than a tenner, too, and comes in grey, purple and black.

This case is not available in the US.

Anker ToughShell AirShock Protective Clear Case for iPhone 7

This simple case is ideal for anyone looking to protect their iPhone without adding too much bulk or hiding the colour and design of the phone itself.

It’s available in Smoke (basically, clear grey) with AirShock technology and raised corners to protect your iPhone 7 from impacts.

It's also available for the iPhone 7 Plus for US shoppers, on Amazon, for $5.99 USD. The 7 Plus version is not available in the UK, however.

X-Doria Defense Lux for iPhone 7

X-Doria’s Defense Lux for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus combines extreme protection with stylish design, and we really like the results. It’s made with anodized aluminium with a soft inner rubber layer.

The rear is covered in either carbon fibre, soft leather or croc skin, depending on the design you choose. There’s also a raised lip to provide protection from the screen.

You can  find the 7 Plus model on Amazon for £27.99 or $34.95 if you're in the US.

FlexiShield iPhone 7 Gel Case

Available for both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, this classic FlexiShield cases has been popular since the early days of the iPhone.

It’s cheap, at under £10, and protects the iPhone whilst adding a pop of colour if you want it. The rubbery gel material lets the iPhone’s design shine through whilst protecting it from scratches and absorbing shocks too.

You can find the iPhone 7 Plus version on Amazon for £7.99 in black, or on Mobile Fun for $5.99 if you're in the US.

Speck Presidio Clear for iPhone 7

Speck's modus operandi is to produce cases that show off the best of the iPhone's natural looks without compromising at all on protection, and it's made the company one of the biggest case manufacturers in the US.

The Presidio Clear cases do a great job of showcasing the iPhone - especially models with added glitter, designs, or even a neon finish - but back it up with 10m drop-tested protection.

At £18.93 the iPhone 7 Plus model only costs a few pounds more on Amazon UK. US visitors can find the 7 Plus version on Amazon US, for $23.49.

WUD Life RÖK Case

The RÖK case is exactly what it sounds like - spelling be damned - with a real rock backplate.

That means it should keep your iPhone solid as a rock - pun fully intended - while also giving it a genuinely unique finish and texture.

WUD offers free International and US shipping, so UK and US readers can rejoice alike.

Style and substance in one? RÖK on.
