Huawei just launched its latest P-series phones. Like Apple and Samsung flagships, the P40 range is available in three flavours: the P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro Plus – all of which offer 5G connectivity.

Huawei broadcast the launch online at 2pm CET or 1pm GMT in the UK. You can catch up here if you missed it, or read our Huwaei P40 review to see what we think of this year's flagship.

The P40 and P40 Pro go on sale on 7 April while the P40 Pro Plus goes on sale in June. Right now, Huawei P40 Pro pre-orders qualify customers for a free pair of Huawei Freebuds 3 wireless earphones worth £149 along with Huawei charging accessories. You can claim the freebies directly from Huawei.

Huawei has listed retailers on its site for the P40 Pro but availability is still lacking. We'll add more retailers to this list as they become available

Below we've handpicked a few standout deals on both models:

The P40 range will be the first without Google Services, as a result of last year's US trade ban which prompted Google to withdraw software support. Despite this, the phones' impressive hardware and camera set-up can still woo customers. We spent 24 hours with the Huawei P40 – this is what we think.

The P40 phones are powered by the Kirin 990 5G chip and feature a 120Hz refresh rate – doubling the 60Hz common to most handsets.

The cameras are the crowning glory, unsurprisingly, with 50Mp main sensors and 40Mp ultrawide sensors on the Pro and Pro Plus. The base P40 features a triple camera set-up, while the P40 Pro features a quad camera, and the top-of-the-line Pro Plus features a whopping penta-camera set-up so powerful we'd recommend it to photographers.
