Watch the live video stream of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch launch from the Samsung Unpacked event at IFA 2013.
It's September already and IFA 2013 in Berlin, Germany is about to kick off including Samsung's press conference. The Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 will start on 4 September at 5pm BST and you will find the live video stream right here so bookmark this page for tomorrow.
Although there's no guarantee, Samsung is widely expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 3 phablet - hinted strongly by the 'note the date' section of the invitation. It's also when we could get a first glimpse of Samsung's entry to the smartwatch market, the Galaxy Gear. There could well be other devices too, it's Samsung after all.
Fitting in with the phablet category, the Galaxy Note 3 is rumoured to sport a 5.9 in or possibly 6.3 in display and the S Pen associated to the Note range. It's thought to be powered by an 8-core processor like the non-UK Galaxy S4 and a whopping 3 GB of RAM. Android 4.2.2 has been tipped but we're hoping for the more up-to-date 4.3. You can also expect Samsung's usual raft of additional TouchWiz bells and whistles.
Samsung confirmed it has been working on a smartwatch and combining that with plenty of leaked information points strongly at the Galaxy Gear announcement. Wearable tech is likely to be big part of this year's IFA. It will rival Sony's SmartWatch 2 and potentially Apple's rumoured iWatch and the inclusion of a camera mean it will, in a way, compete with Google Glass. Leaks suggest it will have Wi-Fi and NFC as well as Bluetooth.
