Gear4 VideoBuddy for iPod nano Gear4 has come up with a handy accessory for the new video-enabled Apple iPod nano that allows you to show off the footage you've shot on a large screen.

The VideoBuddy clips on to the bottom of the nano and has AV (audio-video) connectors to hook it up to a TV screen or other display so you can display your videoing skills to the wider world - or at least your mum.

Gear4 explains that the VideoBuddy is the first in a line of products expected to take advantage of a new authentication chip in the latest iPod nano that allows direct playback from or to the portable player. The iPod accessory maker explains that compatibility restrictions preclude older AV connectors being used in the same way.
