Bogen is extending its range of National Geographic-branded bags to give intrepid explorers yet more storage options.

National Geographic Earth Explorer range of camera bags is to get seven new additions, ranging from compact camera cases to larger bags that can also accommodate a laptop.

According to Bogen, the collection mirrors National Geographic’s dedication to exploration by providing ample room to carry cameras, accessories and personal belongings. Manufactured from sustainable hemp, the bags, which will be available at the end of February, feature a water resistant exterior and brass fittings and rings.

The National Geographic NG 247 7 Large Shoulder Bag measures 43x18x31cm and is suitable for photo and video equipment or a laptop with up to a 17in screen. The National Geographic NG 4567, meamwhile, is a small sling bag. Measuring 16x7x15cm, it is designed for a compact camera or a Mini DV camcorder but there’s also room for essentials such as passport, wallet, phone and maps.

The range also includes National Geographic-branded pouches that can be worn on a belt or over the shoulder and will hold digital accessories such as batteries and memory cards.

As a lighter-weight alternative, consumers can choose a simple travel camera strap or the NG 3030 Adventure camera strap, which comes with pockets in which to store media cards.
