Samsung has launched a monochrome multifunction laser printer with built-in Wi-Fi. The Samsung SCX-3205 can copy and scan in documents as well as producing printouts of them.

A 'Print Screen' button on the device lets users print a copy of anything displayed on their PC, rather than simply printing a document from within an application.

The Samsung SCX-3205W printer measures 388x299x234mm and is capable of producing up to 16 pages per minute. Samsung's AnyWeb Print software lets users select and then drag and drop content from a web page into a new blank page on their PC screen, which they can then save or print. Samsung says this allows users to print just the information they really need, rather than printing several whole web pages, often wasting paper and toner.

The printer also has an eco-copy button that will print two pages of a document on a single sheet of paper.

"With the SCX-3205 series, we are building on Samsung's award winning printing heritage to provide a product that is affordable, stylish, and environmentally-friendly," said Jamie Mackenzie from Samsung Electronics.

The SCX-3205 is priced at £124.99 while the wireless SCX-3205W model costs £169.99. Both are available immediately.
