Monitor manufacturer ViewSonic has turned its attention to the netbook market, by unveiling the VNB100 and the VNB101.
The VNB100 is a 10in netbook powered by the usual 1.66GHz intel Atom N270 processor. The 1.4kg netbook comes with 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive and runs Windows XP.
Viewsonic's MSI Wind clone netbook offers WiFi 802.11 b/g and ethernet connectivity, three USB 2.0 ports, a five-in-one card reader and a 1.3Mp webcam.
The VNB101 is a slimmer version of the VNB100 and is just 25mm thick. The 10in netbook features a frameless edge-to-edge screen, a faster Intel Atom N280, Bluetooth connectivity and an ultra-light lithium-polymer battery. It is available with a black, red or cream casing.
The Viewsonic VNB100 and VNB101 are available now and are priced at £299 and £329 respectively.
