SanDisk has given its Sansa Clip and Sansa Fuze+ MP3 players a makeover, prompting e-tailer AdvancedMP3players to carry the product line.

There’s now a red version of its popular Sansa Fuze+ MP3 player. The tiny music player has a paucity of buttons but, unlike that other understated teeny music player, Apple's iPod Shuffle, you can see and preview what is playing and view album art relating to it. Details are shown on the Fuze+'s 2.4in QVGA (320x240-pixel) screen. The player can be Ogg Vorbis and Flac lossless audio files as well as the usual MP3 and AAC, while video clips can be played at 30 frames per second. Audible audio books are also supported.

The Sansa Fuze+ comes in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB versions (£55, £69 and £89 respectively). MicroSD cards can also be used to boost the onboard storage and to make it more convenient to get music from your PC on to a portable device. In the UK says it will stock the updated Sandisk Sansa Fuze+ range, as well as the still smaller Sansa Clip players.
